Dr. Maria de L. Rodriguez brings to Venture Design a myriad of experiences in the education field. She has worked with students from all grade levels from K-12 and Adult to Undergraduate and Graduate in Higher Education. She has a strong background and knowledge in the development of management procedures, statutory compliance, contract negotiation, and technical assistance for charter schools. In addition, she has provided direction for state and district required services to Broward’s diverse student population. Dr. Rodriguez is delighted to continue her work with charter schools across Broward County through Venture Design.

Deborah J. Cardoso grew up attending Broward County Public Schools and graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in International Business Management. Ms. Cardoso began her career in education with development and operations of charter schools in New York City during the early years of charter school expansion. Upon returning to South Florida, she spent eight years teaching and working in leadership capacities at K-8 charter schools in Broward County. During this time, she also founded an after school enrichment program focused on developing Social and Emotional Learning skills for children in grades K-8. She holds professional certifications in Educational Leadership, Elementary Education and Middle School Mathematics and holds an M.S. Ed. in Teaching and Learning and an M.S. Ed. in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
